I was let down badly by the communication from BMW, which I've already raised in an email.

All areas I had highlighted to the service team were fully addressed and the car also had a complimentary wash and vacuum and was returned to my while I waited.
Competitively priced and they even drive me home to save me waiting around.. Good job.

Cost were reasonable, and the work was completed quickly, and as usual, I did not have to return for any follow-up. It suggests the work was completed to a high standard.
Work was done in good time as arranged with no fuss, but cost is high.
Assured by phone staff that if I arrived by 9am would mean that I could have a lift home, which was important to me as I had my 5 mph old and 3 yr old sons with me. No lift available when I got there and just a shrug of the shoulders as a response.

Great difficulty making appointment with service department by phone. Day 1 gave up after 30 minutes holding on, Day2 after 20 mins left number for call back which did not come for over 24 hours, on day 3 eventually got through after approx. 15 mins
Since changing from Elms to Barons it is very difficult to actually get to speak to a member of the service team on the telephone without waiting a long time or leaving a message to be called back. Other than this I would rate my experience 4 stars.

In-house staff very helpful and efficient
Car collected and returned, serviced and cleaned. However, there was nobody available to fix my broken speaker, which was disappointing.
The computer on the car was reset and the seat settings, light settings, door lock option wouldn't save. The service warning has not been reset. The battery in the key fob is now showing as running low. We now have to come back to get this sorted.
Ive given this score because I think its an appropriate score.There is always room for improvement.
Efficient delivery of service
Everyone was very friendly, especially Alfie who sold me the car. However the after sales support is the reason for the low score. Im very disappointed in the lack of care with my wheels whilst it was in the service department.
The ongoing problem with the driver's door is still not fixed. It is disappointing given we have identified exactly what is wrong.

The service in and of itself was fine. However the centralised telephone scheduling is a DISASTER. It took forever to get through and then the appointment that was set-up was not able to be granted. So the scheduler had to ring back and re-arrange!!!
The lack of ability to obtain the correct part and to keep me informed of what was happening, both on the day of the abortive repair and before a pick up and return.

Met my expectations
An MOT usually takes an hour as my car was booked in at 2.30 and another one was booked in for 3.30. I'm still sitting there at 4.30 with nobody coming to talk to me (despite me asking) I waited all that time and would of gone away. Not happy at all
No courtesy car so had a tiny Hyundai hire car. Was told to bring the car in by 0900 and wasnt even looked at when I called for an update at 1400 so had to be kept another day when the fault was finally diagnosed
Everything I needed was done without a problem and I was given a courtesy car which was very good. They kept me informed over the two days they had my car

Due to the work of Justin Mathews giving a service which always make you feel like he will solve any problems which in this case there was not but makes you feel confident to do business with again
